Travelling
from the South, Midpark Cottage is easily accessible by road ~ the main
A75 road which connects the M6 motorway to Stranraer is less than half
a mile away. From the A75, when you reach Castle Douglas, take the second
exit, signposted A713 to Ayr, and turn towards Ayr. Midpark is the second
entrance on the right, 400 yards from the sliproad juction. The cottage
is the last house on this small private road, about 250 yards from the
A713.
Arriving from Ayr on the A713 as you approach Castle Douglas, pass the rugby club on your left, then Midpark is the second small road on the left, 300 yards past the rugby club.
